DOCUMENTS FOR COMPLETING THE FAFSA

To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will need the following:

  • Your Social Security Number
  • Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
  • Your most recent federal income tax return, W-2s, and other records of money earned
  • Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
  • Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
  • An FSA ID to sign electronically

If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s).

CALIFORNIA DREAM ACT

The California Dream Act allows students who meet AB540 criteria (California Education Code 68130.5(a) to apply for and receive non-state funded scholarships for public colleges and universities & state-funded financial aid such as institutional grants, community college fee waivers, Cal Grant and Chafee Grant.

 

 

FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)

Fill out this online application to receive financial aid for college in the form of grants (free money) and loans (must be paid back).  Remember – the Deadline Date is March 2nd!
